No signal. No GPS. No problem. Navigating remote backcountry on two wheels — with paper maps, a compass, and the instinct to keep riding forward.
Deep in the Selkirk Mountains of British Columbia, the last cell tower disappeared in the rearview mirror outside of Revelstoke. What followed was three days of raw, unfiltered backcountry riding — muddy logging roads, creek crossings, and a navigational puzzle that only paper maps and a compass could solve.
This ride tested gear, grit, and the ability to adapt when the weather turned and the planned route became impassable. Every decision mattered. Every junction required stopping, thinking, and committing.
